What courses can I study?

We currently offer the following courses:

Undergraduate Certificate Part-Time                (leading to BA degree)

The Undergraduate Certificate in Kingdom Theology:

• available in 9 locations across the UK and Channel Islands
• equivalent to a first year as an undergraduate at university
• may be taken for just one year earning 60 credits which can be transferred to another programme
• students may elect to continue after the second year to pursue the following higher qualifications:
  • Additional 2 years: Diploma (entry open to those with a CertHE in theology) 
  • Additional 4 years: Bachelor of Arts Degree

The Graduate Diploma in Kingdom Theology:

• available in 9 locations across the UK and Channel Islands
• fully university accredited
• student attains a level of competence equivalent to that of a Bachelors Degree
• course has 120-credit units and takes two years to complete
• course may be taken for just one year earning 60 credits that can be transferred to another tertiary education programme, and students leave with a Graduate Certificate
• students may elect to continue after the second year for an additional 2 years and complete an original thesis to attain a Master of Arts Degree

The Undergraduate and Graduate Kingdom Theology Courses share broadly the same aims and these govern the overall shape of the curriculum and the content of individual modules. Graduate content and assessment is at a higher level and takes for granted the study, communication and conceptual skills attained during a first degree.

School of Leadership & Mission (SLaM)                          (leading to FdA degree)

• a fully accredited three-year vocational degree course
• internship programme alongside classroom study
• designed for those moving towards church or business leadership

The SLaM course is designed for those who want to move towards working within the church, those who are called to mission within the business world or those who want to be trained for church planting.

Master of Arts Degree Part-Time (for theology graduates)

If you already have a Bachelors degree in theology, or an equivalent, you may be eligible to join this MA in Kingdom Theology programme.

• From this September, the part-time MA for theology graduates  is available across the UK
• The course comprises two years of study, plus the completion of a thesis
• A fully university-accredited course

Full-Time Study

Currently, we offer the School of Leadership & Mission as a full-time programme which comprises a Foundation Degree in Leadership, Ministry and Mission. This is based in Cheltenham.  If you are interested in full-time study abroad, we would recommend considering Saint Stephen's University (SSU), New Brunswick, Canada.
