WTC are delighted to announce that Dr Lucy Peppiatt has been appointed Dean of Studies. Lucy is a systematic theologian with a doctorate in Spirit Christology and Mission and a Licensed Lay Minister in the Church of England. She is currently writing a book on discipleship which is due to be published later this year. She has taught doctrine for WTC for the past two years and currently lives in Bristol where she and her husband, Nick Crawley, lead Crossnet Anglican church.
I am absolutely delighted to be taking up the post of Dean of Studies at WTC. I have always considered working at WTC is an enormous privilege, and to be stepping into a more full-time role is something that I'm really looking forward to. To be part of a faculty and a staff team that is wholeheartedly committed to delivering excellent theological education in the context of prayer and worship and the leading of the Spirit is really wonderful. Moreover, to have the privilege of working with students who are studying theology in order to grow in their discipleship and their mission is truly gratifying. I am greatly looking forward to all that the Lord has in store for WTC in the years to come.
Lucy will continue to lecture in Doctrine but will also take on oversight of the teaching faculty, quality assurance and liaising with the University of Chester. She will also begin to lecture MA students in systematic theology. Please join us in praying for Lucy as she starts her new role on 1st April.
