Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the courses for?

These courses are designed for Christians in active ministry and leadership. They are especially suited to anyone working part-time (whether paid or voluntary) in a local church or para-church organisation, especially as interns; and for mature Christians able to dedicate time to deeper theological training.

Does WTC offer ordination training?

WTC has been training a small group of Ordinands since September 2006, but does not currently have an arrangement with Ministry Division for admitting new candidates. We are now in active discussions regarding the development of a partnership that will enable ordination training to be offered again.

How can I access the training if I do not live locally to a Hub church?

Currently, you will need to be within travelling distance of a local Hub in order to access the training. As the network of Hubs across the UK becomes wider this will become easier, and we are also considering the possibility of ‘virtual’ Hubs for the future.

I am interested in studying a single module rather than the full certificate, is this possible?

This option is not currently available, but there will be short courses running in some Hub churches and through web-based delivery during the year. Please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to register your interest.
